This is a selection of the latest helmets I have manufactured for reenactment
For reenactment purposes I make both one-piece forged helmets, forged out of one single plate, and welded helmets made of several different parts. The helmet can be manufactured entirely out of low carbon steel, or alternatively out of case hardened steel or forged in carbon steel, which is then hardened and annealed to a hardness of approx. 450 VH for the best possible durability in fighting. The welded helmets are always hot forged, for the best possible result, and the welds are invisible on the exterior. The surface can be high polished, manually polished, painted black or patinated — or any combination thereof. I can also sew darned lining in manually wowen fabrics and fit it into helmet or bevor.
